COGratulations to all staff, pupils and families who’ve achieved an award so far and well done to Strathmore Primary, Angus for becoming our first Platinum Accredited school back in June! Watch this space for a School Award journey presentation from the Strathmore team soon!
SUPPORT MEETINGS & TRAINING (sign up in each relevant section below)
- For school leads at the very beginning of the award journey – our next Implementation Training dates are 16th Sept | 6th Oct.
- Our first support meetings of the session are coming up during the week beginning 7th Sept

START YOUR JOURNEY
Any Primary School with an Emotion Works membership can sign up to our School Award Programme.
All we require is the name and contact information for a Primary Award ‘Lead’ or ideally 2 who will be responsible for co-ordinating the tasks involved at each stage of the award journey, gathering the evidence required and submitting your applications.
School website account Managers & Owners can identify or change your own Award Leads by clicking on the 4th tab on your school account page here
Primary Award Leads
Some examples of staff who might take on the role of being an Emotion Works Award Lead include…
- A member of SLT with HWB / Emotional Wellbeing remit
- Class teachers with a particular interest in emotional literacy and wellbeing CPD
- A working group member for Emotion Works in your school
Training for Award Leads
If your school is new to Emotion Works or you are new to being a lead, we strongly encourage you sign up for one of our monthly Implementation Training Sessions which will provide everything you need to know about getting started with the Award process and how it links up with your Primary school roll out and delivery through Bronze & Silver levels.
